It is evident from the records that this Court vide order, dated 24.06.2024, directed the learned Special Judge, Special Court for the Trial of Prevention of Corruption Act cases, Tirunelveli in Spl.C.No. 3 of 2018; Spl.C.No.5 of 2019; Spl.C.No.6 of 2019; Spl.C.No.14 of 2023 and Spl.C.No.15 of 2023, to complete the trial process within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of that order. 3.The learned Principal District Judge, Tenkasi, has submitted a requisition, dated 09.09.2025, stating that on account of bifurcation of Tenkasi Judicial District from Tirunelveli District, the above cases were transferred to the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi and all the records were received on 05.03.2025 and subsequently, the above cases were transferred to the Principal District and Sessions Court, Tenkasi and that the records were received only on 28.08.2025 and seeks six months to dispose the cases. The learned Principal District Judge in his requisition has further stated that one or two witnesses have been examined in the above cases.

4.Considering the reasons assigned, this Court is inclined to grant six months further time to complete the trial and dispose of the cases.

5. Accordingly, the learned Principal District Judge (Special Court for the trial of Prevention of Corruption Act Cases), Tenkasi, is hereby directed to dispose of the cases in Spl.C.No. 3 of 2018; Spl.C.No.5 of 2019; Spl.C.No.6 of 2019; Spl.C.No.14 of 2023 and Spl.C.No.15 of 2023, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
