O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 27.07.2010, for recognition of the Deborah Girls Home within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the home was started in June 2006. However, the second respondent is so far has not granted approval under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000 as amended in the year 2006. 3.The second respondent has contended that the application, dated 27.07.2010, lacks many details and hence, the application could not be processed.

4.In view of the lapse of 12 years, the writ petitioner is directed to file a fresh application for approval along with all the particulars as called for in the counter affidavit. In case of such application being filed, 2/4

the same shall be considered in accordance to law by the second respondent herein within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of such application.

5.With the above said observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 26.07.2022 Index :
