PRAYER: This petition is preferred under Section 482 Cr.P.C to direct the respondent No.2 not to harass the petitioner and his family members without any legally sustainable complaint and to direct the respondent No.2 to follow the guideline issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in D.K.Basu (1997 (1) SCC 416) case in matters pertaining to arrest or interrogation and pass such further or other order as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the respondent No.2 not to harass the petitioner and his family members without any legally sustainable complaint and to direct the respondent No.2 to follow the guideline issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in D.K.Basu (1997 (1) SCC 416) case in matters pertaining to arrest or investigation. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that petition enquiry is pending.

4.The second respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and there shall be no harassment to the petitioners. In the meantime, the petitioner shall not be harassed by the respondent police.
