ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) The petitioner, who has filed this writ petition in the guise of Public Interest Litigation, has sought for a direction directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct an enquiry and cancel the stone quarry license issued to the fourth respondent in Survey No.458/1, Sirugudi Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District for violation of the guidelines and terms and conditions and thereby take appropriate action against the fourth respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2024.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 stated that the first 2/5
respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.700/2019 (Mineral) dated 09.10.2020, has granted lease to one M.Pandian in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.458/1 (part), Sirugudi Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District as early as on 09.10.2020 for a period of ten years. 3.Considering the fact that the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition by way of Public Interest Litigation without challenging the order, dated 09.10.2020 passed by the first respondent, we are not inclined to entertain the same. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
