Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent i.e, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai to send revised pension proposals to the Accountant General, Chennai, calculating half of the services put in by the petitioner as Panchayat Clerk within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Honourable High Court. O R D E R

For non-compliance of the order of this Court, dated 30.01.2019, made in W.P(MD)No.13603 of 2014, this Contempt Petition is filed.

2.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that this Court, by order dated 30.01.2019, allowed the writ petition, by calculating 50% of the past service rendered by the petitioner. As against the said order, the State preferred a Writ Appeal. Despite the writ appeal, the Government has passed the G.O(1D)No.65, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Service Wing, Service 7(1) Section, dated 10.03.2021 and the order of this Court will be complied with, subject to the result of the writ appeal.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents, this Contempt Petition is closed.
