ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd Respondent to grand permission to conduct Kumbabishekam in respect of the temple, namely, Amaravathi Karrupar Alayam situated at Survey No.100/1, Alambakottai Village, Sarugani Post, Sivagangai District, schedule on 21.01.2024. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the Respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents. 4.The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner would submit rival group had sought temple honour for them, based on which, there was dispute, which was settled by the then Thasildhar, Devakottai, wherein, he had clearly stated that there will not be any honour to any one.

5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that this year also there are rival claims and the Peace Committee Meeting is pending before the Thasildhar, Devakottai as on date.

In the light of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from the Respondent Police, the Petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Thasildhar, Devakottai. The Thasildhar, Devakottai, shall pass appropriate orders. Considering the Court holidays, the order passed by the Executive Magistrate/ Tahsildar/Revenue Divisional Officer, as the case may be, is binding on both parties, considering the special circumstances. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
