ORDER

This petition has been filed praying to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.198 of 2014 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Magistrate Cadre, Madurai.

2.The petitioners are arrayed as A1 to A7 in C.C.No.198 of 2014 on the file of the Additional Mahila court, Magistrate Cadre, Madurai. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a joint compromise memo has been filed by the parties and duly signed by them and attested by their respective counsel wherein it is stated that the petitioners as well as the second respondent have arrived at compromise and the matter in issue between them has been amicably resolved and therefore, the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

not willing to prosecute the case.

4.In the light of the compromise memo, no purpose will be served by keeping the Criminal Original Petition pending. 5.In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the charge sheet in C.C.No.198 of 2014 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Magistrate Cadre, Madurai, is quashed. The Compromise Memo shall form part of the record.
