ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner vide Charge Memo in Letter No.16702/2013-3/A4, dated 15.06.2016, on the file of the first respondent. 2.This Court is of the view that the pendency of the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner for more than 3 1/2 years is an inordinate delay and as such, this Court would be justified in invoking its extraordinary powers under Article 226 of Constitution of India, directing the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings within the stipulated time.

W.P.(MD) No.1253 of 2020 3.In view of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already completed.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
