ORDER
In connection with the petitioner's daughter marriage that was held on 12.09.2018, the petitioner had earlier applied for E.P.F. Loan of Rs.4,50,000/- before the respondent Corporation and in pursuance of his request, the respondent Corporation had released a sum of Rs.60,000/- only. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner claims to have given a further request, by way of representation on 11.01.2019, seeking for the balance amount of the said loan. In view of the non-consideration of the request, the present writ petition has been filed.
2.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that out of the loan amount of Rs.4,50,000/- sought for by the petitioner, they had already released a sum of Rs.60,000/- in December 2018 and that by taking into consideration the contribution made by the petitioner towards E.P.F., they are willing to release the balance amount of Rs.3,90,000/-, if sufficient time is granted to them. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.910 of 2020 3.In the light of the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel and by recording the same, there shall be a direction to the respondent to release the balance EPF loan amount of Rs.3,90,000/- to the petitioner atleast within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The Writ Petition stands allowed accordingly. No costs.
