The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the second respondent / District Registrar (Administration) Registration Department, Virudhunagar District, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 28.04.2021. 2/6

2. The petitioner has filed such appeal questioning the sale deeds executed by the respondents 5 to 7. The petitioner also claims a share in the property and it is the grievance of the learned counsel for the petitioner that without effecting partition, the properties have been sold. An appeal in this regard is now pending before the second respondent/ District Registrar (Administration) Registration Department,

3. Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Notices had been directed to the respondents 5 to 7. The note of the Registry shows that the respondents 6 and 7 have been served on 04.02.2022 and for fifth respondent Mr.S.T.Sasidharan Tamilkani, Advocate, had filed vakkalat. The name of the learned counsel also is printed in the cause list.

5. At any rate, a direction is given to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of 3/6

receipt of a copy of this order. Notices may be served to all concerned and principles of natural justice must be followed while passing the said order.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
