PRAYER:- Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 4th and 6th respondents to permit the petitioner to urgently convene the General Body Meeting of the school, that is the Government High School, Keezhkulam West, Kanyakumari District for the purpose of raising funds to put up RCC roof to the 3rd floor of the new building constructed under the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 4 to 6 to convene the General Body Meeting for the purpose of raising funds to put up RCC roof in the third floor of the new building constructed under the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha scheme.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that already the building has been constructed and for each floor, the roofing was done with concrete and insofar as the head room, asbestos roofing has been provided. The learned Government Advocate further submitted that the petitioner is now the President of the Parents-Teachers Association. 2/4
3. In the light of the subsequent development that had taken place, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
