RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner/accused by this Honble Court in Crl.MP(MD)No.14393/2022 in Crl.RC(MD) no.510/2022 on 2/12/2022 and reduce the deposit amount to a reasonable quantum.

To call for records and allow this Criminal Revision and set aside the impugned Judgment passed by the Learned Additional District and Sessions Judge (FTC), Kanniyakumari District at Nagercoil dt 30/09/2019 in Criminal Appeal No.53 of 2007 by confir Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.KARTHIKEYAN S, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.R. SYRESH KUMAR, Government Advocate(crl.side) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner/accused by this Court in Crl.M.P.(MD).No.14393 of 2022 in Crl.R.C.(MD).No.510 of 2022 and reduce the deposit amount to a reasonable quantum.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a condition has been imposed upon the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- to the credit of this crime number before the trial https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
CRL MP(MD) No.2058 of 2023 Court. He would further submit that because of his incarceration, he is not in position to contact his family members. However, now he is ready to deposit Rs.2,00,000/-.
3.On the above said undertaken, this petition is allowed and the condition imposed upon the petition is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) before the trial Court to the credit of the crime number, within a period of fifteen days.
