ORDER:- This Civil Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.C. Sundaravadivel, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents, this Court made the following order:

The Writ Appeal filed by the petitioner herein was disposed of on 03.09.2024 after recording the stand of the authorities that e-auction will be conducted. This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to compel the authorities to abide by the said stand.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the District Administration after conducting a feasibility study came to the conclusion that further quarrying cannot be permitted in the petition mentioned site. These are matters which fall within the policy realm of the department. It is not open to the writ Court to force the Government to conduct any auction for quarrying activities. 3.Recording the stand of the respondents, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.
