The present writ petition has been filed challenging an introduction of Section 22-A by way of Registration (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act 2008, namely, Act 2 of 2009, dated 29.01.2009.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner had passed away and his legal heirs have not evinced any interest to continue the proceedings.
