O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to execute the order rental agreement to hand over the shop to the petitioner and permit him to open the Shop No.4 in the ground floor under the control of Ramanathapuram Regulatory commercial buildings premises, as per the order issued by the third respondent in NAKO:A/2008/2023, dated 26.04.2023.

2. According to the petitioner, there are totally 21 shops available under the control of Ramanathapuram regulatory commercial buildings premises. The petitioner is the successful bidder for the Shop No.4 for the rent of Rs.31,000/- per month. But unfortunately the respondents 3 and 4 hold the order rental agreement due to GSTIN is in the name of his wife. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation dated 10.04.2023, before the Chief Minister Help Line. Thereafter, the third respondent has 2/5

issued the proceedings in NAKO:A/2008/2023, dated 26.04.2023 and the District Collector has to issue the allotment order. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the above said facts, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2023 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 09.02.2024 akv 3/5
