O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging a Notification issued by the first respondent herein, calling for LPG dealership for Kumbakonam Town, Thanjavur District. 1/3
2. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, originally a Notification was issued, on 15.06.2010, calling for an application for LPG dealership for Kumbakonam Town. He was a participant in the said selection process and he was ranked as Rank No.2. Since the candidate who was ranked as No.1 was found to be disqualified, the petitioner was selected as the successful candidate and that he was issued with the letter of intent on 22.01.2013.

According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the person ranked as No.1, one Muthusamy, had challenged the said selection of the writ petitioner herein by way of Writ Petition before this Court. The said Writ Petition was dismissed. However, in W.A.(MD)No.73 of 2013, an order of status quo was granted, on 24.01.2013. The said Writ Appeal was dismissed on 13.06.2014. In the meantime, the first respondent herein had proposed to abandon the Notification, dated 15.06.2010 and issued a fresh Notification, on 21.09.2013 which is under challenge in the present Writ Petition.
4. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, after the dismissal of Writ Appeal, the first respondent herein has issued letter of acceptance dated 24.12.2014 and they have also entered into an agreement on 20.01.2015. (*)
5. In view of the above said facts, nothing survives in the present Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
