ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.10.2012 and to execute a sale deed in respect of the house allotted to the writ petitioner.

2. According to the writ petitioner, a letter of allotment was issued to him on 19.01.1999 and the entire sale consideration has been paid by him. The petitioner has also submitted a draft sale deed to the respondents. The petitioner has given a representation on 25.10.2012 to the second respondent for execution of the sale deed with a copy to the first respondent. The petitioner has further contended that on 25.11.2012, the second respondent has addressed a letter to the Assistant Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board to the effect that the petitioner has paid the entire dues to the Housing Board and permission may be granted for execution of a sale deed. However, so far no further orders have been passed and the sale deed has not been executed. 2/4

3. Per contra, the learned standing counsel for the respondents had contended that the orders from the first respondent are awaited for execution of the sale deed.

4. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to execute a sale deed in respect of the plot allotted to the writ petitioner within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
