Heard Mr. G.M.Xavier, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. K.S.Selvaganesan, Learned Additional Government Pleader for the First Respondent and Ms. M.Aasha, Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the Petitioner.

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the First Respondent to return the original Driving License No.TN-60 Z200 5000 2124 of the Petitioner within a time limit that may be fixed by this Court. 3.

It has been brought to notice by Proceedings in Show Cause No. TN58Z/2022/2411 dated 06.01.2023, the First Respondent has passed final order suspending the Driving License of the Petitioner for the period 2/4

from 05.12.2022 to 04.06.2023, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition reserving the right of the Petitioner to challenge the said proceedings before the appropriate forum and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid clarifications. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
