Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This Petition has been filed to extend the time granted in Crl.O.P(MD).No.7666 of 2017, dated 21.06.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has not raised any serious objection for allowing this petition.

4. On 21.06.2017, while passing order in Crl.O.P(MD).No.7666 of 2017, this Court directed the petitioner herein to surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Usilampatti within a period of two weeks from the date on which the said order copy was made ready and execute a bail bond. But, the petitioner has not complied with the condition filed the present petition for extension of time, after 9 months from the date of said order.

5. Considering the fact that the reason for the delay is not properly explained by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to allow the petition subject to the payment of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only), to the credit of the Hon'ble Chief Justice Relief Fund, Madras High Court, Madurai, within a period of two https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

weeks from today.

6.
