Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant permission and necessary protection to perform on 14.01.2022 and 15.01.2022(Two Days) Cultural Programmes and Childrens Sports and Events Morning 7.00 A.M. to Evening 7.00 P.M. of "Thai Poosa Thiruvha" at Narasingampatty, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

ORDER
Heard the learned Counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner has requested that he wants to hold the petition mentioned event on 14.01.2022 and 15.01.2022. He is willing to hold the event on 19.01.2022 and 20.01.2022. This is because of the new restrictions announced by the Government of Tamil Nadu from 14.01.2022 to 18.01.2022.
3.The first respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the petition mentioned event on 19.01.2022 and 20.01.2022. The first respondent shall stipulate appropriate conditions to ensure the smooth conduct of the event and for adhering to Covid-19 protocol. The petitioner through his counsel gives an undertaking that the organizers of the event will adhere to the police directives.
