Respondents / Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the first respondent to direct the 8th and 9th respondents to withdraw the investigation in Crime No.33 of 2014 offence under Sections 294(b), 120(b), 406, 420, 506(I) of IPC and the same entrust to the investigation to the Inspector of Police, C.B.C.I.D, Madurai District. O R D E R

Seeking a direction to the first respondent to direct the 8th and 9th respondents to withdraw the investigation in Crime No.33 of 2014 and transfer the same to the Inspector of Police, C.B.C.I.D, Madurai District for further investigation, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for Respondent-1 to Respondent-8 and Respondent-10 and perused the records.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite the fact that the case is pending more than one year, no progress has been made. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner is not co-operating for the investigation. Objecting the said statement, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he himself was present before the Investigation officer and produced the relevant documents.

4. This court is not willing to go into the inter-se dispute. This court finds it suffice that a direction is issued to the fourth respondent, the Superintendent of Police, Madurai District to supervise and monitor the investigation. The petitioner is directed to furnish all the documents once again which was already said to have been given to the Investigation Officer. Thereafter, the Final Report will have to be filed within a period of four weeks.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly. Sd/-
