To extend the time for surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court imposed on the petitioner in Crl.OP(MD)No. 17535 of 2017 dated 20.12.2017.
Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.T.SENTHIL KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mrs.M.ANANTHA DEVI, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- These petitions have been filed to modify the conditions imposed by this Court and to extend the time granted to the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD)No.17535 of 2017, dated 20.12.2017. 2.This Court, by order dated 20.12.2017 made in Crl.O.P(MD)No. 17535 of 2017, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner and directed him to deposit a sum of Rs.60,000/- to the credit of concerned District Mineral Foundation Trust Fund, without prejudice to his defence before the Trial Court. However, the petitioner could not deposit the said amount, within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, he has approached this Court with the present petitions for the relief stated supra.

financial crunch, the petitioner could not deposit the amount and produce the sureties within the time prescribed by this Court and hence, he prays for modification of the said condition and extension of time.
4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side). 5.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of these petitions, these petitions are ordered and the deposit amount of Rs.60,000/- is modified to Rs.5,000/-. The petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of concerned District Mineral Foundation Trust Fund, without prejudice to his defence before the Trial Court on or before 13.04.2018, subject to the other conditions stipulated in the order dated 20.12.2017, made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17535 of 2017. sd/- 02/04/2018 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
