O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.09.2013 to appoint a Special Officer for the third respondent Society under Section 34-A of the Tamil Nadu Society Registration Act.

2. The petitioner in the writ affidavit has made serious allegations as against the office bearers of the third respondent Society both on the administrative side and also on financial aspects. The said allegations are repeated by the writ petitioner in the representation, dated 17.09.2013 said to have been made to the first respondent herein. 2/5

3. According to the writ petitioner, a representation to the first respondent was made directly and the same has also been acknowledged by the Tapal Section of the first respondent, on 18.09.2013. So far, the said representation has not been considered.

4. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the office bearers who are occupying the office in the year 2013 are still continuing in the office and hence, the prayer for appointment of Special Officer holds good.

5. Without expressing any opinion on merits on the allegations made in the representation made by the writ petitioner, this Court, directs the first respondent herein to consider the representation made by him, dated 17.09.2013 and pass orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

6. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
