The above petition is filed to amend the cause title with regard to the 2nd respondent police.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that due to typographical error, the name of the respondent police station has been wrongly mentioned as ''Muthukulathur Police Station'' in stead of ''Keelaselvanoor Police Station'' and hence, prayed for amendment of the cause title.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the petition seeking amendment is ordered.

5.Registry is directed to amend the cause title of the 2nd respondent wherever necessary.
