Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to enquire and take action against the respondents 7 to 11 for ex-communicating the petitioner and his relatives in Melaiyur Ayyapatti Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2024.

ORDER

This petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to enquire and take action against the respondents 7 to 11 for ex-communicating the petitioner and his relatives in Melaiyur Ayyapatti Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2024. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the 7th respondent submitted that the petitioner

and his relatives were never excommunicated. Further, the 7th respondent undertook that they will collect vari from the petitioner and they will not discriminate or excommunicate the petitioner and his relatives. 3.Considering the undertaking of the 7th respondent, the petitioner is permitted to give vari to the Temple in the committee.

4.With the above said observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 12-12-2025 Tmg To
