PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to forebear the 4th respondent or her subordinates from in any way laying a Panchayat road in the land belonging to the petitioner in survey No. 64-2B, 67-1 and 64-3B, Periyasamypuram, Vilathikulam Taluk, Tuticorin District, without acquiring the said lands under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 by considering the representation preferred by the petitioner on 22/07/2013 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction as against the respondents No.1 to 3 to forbear the fourth respondent, who is the Panchayat President, from putting up any road in certain survey numbers, which absolutely belongs to the writ petitioner. 2/5
2. According to the writ petitioner, due to some personal animosity, the fourth respondent is attempting to lay a road in the private property of the writ petitioner without acquiring the said lands.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that now a new President has taken charge and there is no attempt as of now to lay a road in the disputed property. The said statement is recorded and no further orders are required in the writ petition.
4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 22.07.2022 Index :
