O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to give permission and police protection to conduct cultural programme (Music and Dance) on 04.04.2018 during the temple festival of Arulmigu Bhagawathy Amman Temple situated at Nariyappatti Village, Neerpalani Post, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.It seen from the records that the programme is scheduled to be held on 04.04.2018 (today), therefore, this Court cannot give any direction as sought for in the petition. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the second respondent herein and thereafter, the second respondent shall consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders in the light of the decision rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and others, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233 and the order passed in WP (MD)No.7043 of 2018 dated 02.04.2018 by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
