ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the Inspector of Panchayats, under which, the power of signing in the cheques by the writ petitioner, who was the then Panchayat President, has been withdrawn. Since the tenure of the panchayat is over, nothing survives in the writ petition. 2.In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
