ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction the respondents 1 to 5 to permit and to conduct the Kumbabisheegam on 02.02.2025 in KIDAPOORI AYYANAR TEMPLE at Kidapoori village, Mutharan Post, Sivagangai District and for consequential direction to the fifth respondent police to provide adequate police protection in pursuant of my representation dated.06.01.2025.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 2/4

3. It is submitted by both sides that the petitioner submitted a representation and on receipt of the same, the third respondent conducted a peace committee meeting between two groups in which a resolution was passed to the effect that no one is entitled for any priority and no specific rights would be given to anybody.

4. Since a peace committee meeting has been conducted between the petitioner and the respondents 6 to 9 and a resolution has also been passed, the petitioner and the respondents 6 to 9 are permitted to conduct the Kumbabisheegam in KIDAPOORI AYYANAR TEMPLE at Kidapoori village, Mutharan Post, Sivagangai District as per the terms and conditions of the resolution.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
