When the matter was taken up for hearing on 04.11.2025, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner and the matter was posted to 07.11.2025 under the caption ''For Dismissal''. 2.Today, in spite of the matter being listed under the caption "For Dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner. In such circumstances, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non-prosecution, since the Writ Petition is also not maintainable, in the light of the judgment of the Honb'le Apex Court in the case of Ranjith Prasad Vs. Union of India (UoI) and Ors., reported in AIR 2000 SC 3469. 3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
