This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to withdraw the case in Crime No.388 of 2014 on the file of the second respondent and entrust the same to third respondent for investigation of the case by a competent officer and file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the final report would be filed within a period of four months.

3. It appears that the case is pending investigation for more than one year.

Considering the same, the second respondent is directed to file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Cantonment Police Station, Trichy is directed to monitor the investigation.
