ORDER

The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned rejection order passed by the 2nd Respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No. Nil dated 07.01.2024 and consequently to direct the Respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Sithi Vinayagar Temple Festival at Senkulam village Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, which is to be held on 23.01.2024 from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm, based on the Petitioner's representation, on 02.01.2024.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the Respondents 1 and 2 had not permitted Adal Padal, but, permitted to conduct Temple Festival, Sports event for Children and "Annathanam" and other related activities. Also the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that earlier Writ Petition filed by the Petitioner was dismissed by 2/4

this Court in W.P.(MD)No.23693 of 2023, as there was clash in the village, due to organization of Adal Padal and the same was refused in this time.

3. In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
