The Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry or threaten him. Page No. 1 of 4

2. The petitioner has sent a representation dated 03.01.2025 to the first respondent, stating that the second respondent has been calling the petitioner at odd hours to the police station from his residence. The petitioner had earlier filed Crl.O.P. (MD) No.11039 of 2024. This Court, by an order dated 22.07.2024, directed the respondents not to harass the petitioner. Despite the same, the harassment continued.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner is the accused in two cases: one in Crime No.294 of 2022 and the other in Crime No.387 of 2024. The petitioner was summoned only to execute a bond for good behaviour. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that in order to ascertain the availability of the petitioner, he has been called, which cannot be termed as harassment.

4. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to serve notice on the petitioner to appear and execute the bond for good behaviour. Page No. 2 of 4
