Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to supply 4000 litres of petrol and 8000 litres of diesel daily in pursuance of the load order to purchase placed by the petitioner dated 10.06.2013, on the basis of Rs.6,96,436/- paid by the petitioner for the said purchase and to continue to supply petrol and diesel on the basis of the future order to be placed by the petitioner and the future amount to be paid by the petitioner.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondent Indian Oil Corporation to supply 4000 litres of petrol and 8000 litres of diesel daily in pursuance of the load purchase order dated 10.06.2013.

2. This writ petition was filed in the year 2013. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 29.07.2022, it was reported that the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has died. Therefore, this Court directed the Registry to issue notice to the petitioner returnable by 17.08.2022. The notice returned with an endorsement that the petitioner has also died.

3. Considering the relief sought for in this writ petition and the fact that the petitioner has died, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 13.03.2023 NCC: Yes / No Index :Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No mbi 2/3
