Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order dated 09.02.2011 in Order No.II/21022/58 (480)/2011/FCRAMU, on the file of the second respondent and quash the same consequently directing the respondents to lift the prohibition on the petitioner, Tuticorin Diocesan Association, in FCRA Registration No.076030032 from receiving foreign contributions and consequently defreeze the designated bank Account Number 07080100000620 in the Bank of Baroda, Victoria Street, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.

2.Today (27.04.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the writ petition has become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
