Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the II Additional Sessions Judge, (PCR Court) Act Cases, Tirunelveli District to consider the petitioners bail application on merits on the date of surrender on the same day in Cr.No.82 of 2019 for offences under Section 452, 294(b), 506(2) of IPC r/w.3(1)(r) 3(1)(s), 3(2)(VA) of SC/ST Act(POA) Amendment Act 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Sankarankovil Town Police Station, Tirunelveli District.

ORDER:

This Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.J.Senthil Kumar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court made the following order:

This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioners to execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners seek time to produce sureties. Since there was a difficulty in arranging the sureties, the petitioners are unable to execute the sureties within the stipulated time as per the order of Crl.O.P(MD) No.3395 of 2019, dated 06.03.2019.

3.In view of the same, time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P (MD) No.3395 of 2019, dated 06.03.2019 is extended further for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand vacated automatically.
