ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.1 in Crime No.258 of 2015 on the file of the respondent was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 06.06.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w.20(b)(ii)(B) & 25 of NDPS Act, and hence, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused was found in possession of 14 kgs of ganja.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in incarceration for more than 40 days. 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is involved in five previous cases of similar in nature.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is in incarceration for more than 40 days, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge of Principal Special Court for EC&NDPS Act Cases, Madurai, and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily twice at 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. until further orders.
