The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 not to grant No objection certificate for putting up a petrol bunk or grant any explosive license to the 6th respondent for storage of petrol at T.S.Nos.470/1A (Part-1) situated at West Veli Street opposite to Madurai Junction Railway Station, Madurai District, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2023. 2.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that pending this writ petition, the licence granted to the 6th respondent for petrol bunk was cancelled. Hence, the prayer in this writ petition has become infructuous.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
