[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] The prayer in the Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to grant 28 days ordinary leave without police escort to the petitioner's brother namely Ganesan, S/o.Ramachandran, aged about 38 years life convict PID No.32538 confined at Open Air Prison, Purasadai Udaippu, Sivagangai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Pending Writ petition the convict was granted the representation of the petitioner was considered and 28 days ordinary leave was granted to the convict by an order dated 11.01.2026.
