ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents No.1 to 3 conducting festival in God Kariyamalai, Satha Iyyanar Ravutharayar as well as KarumbuEaswarar Temple situated at Vadakkutheru, Pattamagalam, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District in the Tamil month of Masi 2025, without paying first respect to the private respondents No.4 to 9 based on the representation made by the petitioner dated on 21.12.2024.
2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3. The God Kariyamalai, Satha Iyyanar Ravutharayar as well as 2/4
Karumbu Easwarar Temple situated at Vadakkutheru, Pattamagalam, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District are coming under the purview of the second respondent herein. The apprehension of the petitioner is that the second respondent is going to pay first respect to the respondents 4 to 9 herein while celebrating any festival in those temples.
4. The Special Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the temples are meant for all the communities and no particular community people are discarded by the authorities. That apart, no first right would be given to anybody with respect to their community. The temples are meant for all general public.
5.Recording the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed. No costs. 20.01.2025 Index : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No CM 3/4
