ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to pass orders on the proposal sent by the 4th respondent in proceedings, dated 29.11.2002. 1/3
2. The grievances of the petitioner is that the benefits of Special Grade has not been extended to him, on account of pendency of the disciplinary proceedings.
3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the disciplinary proceedings were concluded and inspite of that, no action has been taken to grant special grade to the writ petitioner. In this regard, the 4th respondent sent a proposal in proceedings dated 29.11.2012, to the 2nd respondent. The said proposal is kept pending. Thus, the writ petitioner is constrained to move the present writ petition.
4. Under these circumstances, without going into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the proposal submitted by the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No.400/2012/A1, dated 29.11.2002, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
