ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1163 of 2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the second accused was reported dead; that the first accused was mentally unsound and that after investigation, the second respondent has filed final report as further action dropped. He would further submit that R.C.S., notice was served on the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that no notice was served on her.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent police is directed to serve R.C.S., notice on the petitioner/defacto complainant and on such receipt, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the jurisdictional Court.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
