ORDER

This writ petition has been filed against the charge memo dated 20.12.2021.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent issued notice to the petitioner on 07.03.2020, in which, the petitioner was called for certain documents with regard to the investigation about LUCC loan sanctioned by the petitioner and the same were not furnished by him. The respondent has proceeded with the departmental proceedings by issuing a charge memo. The grievance of the petitioner is that his explanations dated 05.03.2018, 11.05.2020 and 29.02.2021 were not considered by the respondent and without considering his explanations, the respondent has issued the charge memo in a mechanical manner.

W.P(MD)No.1322 of 2022 3.The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation runs to 100 pages and no valuable materials are available to quash the charge memo issued to the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondent submitted that the Enquiry Officer was appointed and today, the case is posted for hearing and this petitioner also appeared before the Enquiry Officer.

5. Considering the rival submissions made and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to conclude the departmental proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is needles to mention that the petitioner shall produce the relevant documents before the Enquiry Officer, which are required for the purpose of enquiry. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
