Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of patta for the petition mentioned land. The petitioner claims that he purchased the same way back in the year 1996. The petitioner had earlier filed W.P(MD)No.23188 of 2017. It was disposed of on 18.12.2017. Since the direction given by this Court did not elicit a fruitful response, the petitioner filed W.P(MP)No.19414 of 2021. Again, a direction was given for disposal of the petitioner's request. Since it was not complied with, Cont.P(MD)No.559 of 2022 was filed. It was closed by recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader that the order of this Court has been complied with. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though several reports have been submitted in his favour, till date no patta has been issued. It is further stated that since the land in question is classified as natham, it is for the first respondent / the authority competent to issue patta. It is also stated that there is no rival claim.

3.The first respondent is directed to pass order on the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
