(MD)No.19547 of 2025 in A.S.(MD)No.516 of 2025 dated 19.12.2025 by this Court pending disposal of the above Appeal Suit. 1/4

ORDER

Today, this matter has been listed under the caption "For Reporting Compliance."

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that 50% of the decree amount, along with proportionate accrued interest and costs, to be deposited by the petitioner has already been calculated and that a challan has also been issued for a sum of Rs.11,47,783/- (Rupees Eleven Lakhs Forty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Three only). However, due to a strike by nationalised banks across India on 27.01.2026, the petitioner could not deposit the said amount and prayed for a period of two days to deposit the same.

4. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to grant time till 02.02.2026 to comply with the order of this Court dated 19.12.2025. 2/4

5. Accordingly, time is granted to the petitioner till 02.02.2026 to comply with the order of this Court dated 19.12.2025, failing which no further time shall be granted.

6. List the matter under the same caption on 03.02.2026. 29-01-2026 Note : Issue order copy on 29.01.2026.
