ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 25.09.2019 and make mutation and include petitioner's name in town survey register in T.S.No.15/8 and Town Tax receipt Adangal and other register kept in the custody of the respondent in respect of the T.S.No.15/8 in Theni Municipality.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate order within the time stipulated by this Court. 3.Having regard to the limited scope of prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.1132 of 2020 "The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case of any dispute or rival claim, the respondent shall issue notice to the concerned individual and pass appropriate orders after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner as well as such third parties."
