ORDER

The petitioner is a first generation graduate. He has applied for the post of Office Assistant in the office of the 2nd respondent through on-line on 08.09.2025. Though he was called for an interview on 22.10.2025, he has not been selected. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his on-line application dated 08.09.2025 and appoint him as Office Assistant in the office of the 2nd respondent.

Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the first respondent, submits that the petitioner has applied for the post of Office Assistant in the 2nd respondent office that he is a first generation graduate. Since the petitioner has not enclosed any document to that effect, his candidature has not been considered and another person, who is having relevant document, has been considered.

In view of the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to inform the petitioner about the status of his application, enabling him to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. The status of the petitioner's application shall be communicated to the petitioner within 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
