Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, directing the respondent to recognize the duly elected governing council of the petitioner college and further directing the respondent to nominate official members to the governing council to enable the formation of govering council of the petitioner college based on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2013 and 23.10.2013 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to recognize the duly elected governing council and to nominate an official members to represent in the said governing council.

2. According to the learned Government advocate for the respondent, the elected governing council of the petitioner college has been recognized and the respondent has already nominated an official member to the elected governing council of the petitioner college. Since the prayer sought for in the writ petition has already been granted by the authorities, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the writ petition.
