ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the third respondent herein on 16.05.2012 for a temporary merger of Kendriya Vidyalaya Rameswaram with Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandapam.
2. According to the learned Counsel for the writ petitioner, the welfare of the students would be affected incase the merger takes place. The learned Counsel for the second respondent on instructions, had 3/6
produced a proceedings of the Deputy Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Chennai, dated 15.07.2022. As per the said proceedings, the Mandapam and Rameswaram Kendriya Vidyalaya are operating in different place. The learned Counsel for the second respondent submits that the proposal for temporary merger has been dropped as of now. The said statement is recorded.
3. Therefore, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 18.07.2022 Index :
