Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for cutting of Jury Flora trees in the land in SF.No.1/6 in Patta No.17601 measuring about 98 cents situated in Vikkiramapandiyapuram, Nallukurichi Post, Mudhukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the representation dated 03.12.2024.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for cutting of Jury Flora trees in the land in SF.No.1/6 in Patta No.17601 measuring about 98 cents situated in Vikkiramapandiyapuram, Nallukurichi Post, Mudhukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the representation dated 03.12.2024.

2.The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the land. The patta, settlement deed and A Register are in his name and the 5th respondent is no way connected to the said property.

3.Therefore, the 1st respondent Tahsildar is directed to conduct an enquiry by calling the petitioner under the 5th respondent. If all the property records are in favour of the petitioner, the first respondent Tahsildar shall pass appropriate orders to cut the Jury Flora trees.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
